Expected to be a grand one as the shooting of 26 episodes musical reality show will be held in USA it is also interspersed with the cultural exchange. The shooting of this show will commence from September.
The first ever reality based music talent hunt of NRI Kannadigas is planned to take off in America. Group of NRIs, coordinating with talented individuals from Karnataka have come forward to produce a TV programme, showcasing the talent of the NRI artists staying in USA. It is also an endeavor to bring Kannada culture close to millions of Kannadiga’s living in USA.
Veteran Music Directors Hamsalekha and Manomurthy will be the judges of the show along with well known singers and lyricists. Also the show will have Rajesh Krishnan-Popular playback singer, Raghu Dixit-Leading folk Rock singer and composer of India, Jayanth Kaikini-Famous Lyricist, Prof. Krishnegowda as the guests.
The Kannada talent show would kick start from first week of November 2009 with three zones, Chicago, New Jersey and San Francisco.
