The movie stars Anupam Kher, and Naseeruddin Shah in leading roles. The music score is by Sanjoy Chowdhury, son of the late Salil Chowdhury. It tells the story of certain events that unfold between 2 and 6 pm on a particular Wednesday - events which do not exist in any record but which deeply affects the lives of those involved.
